META: Internet Crisis Averted. I can make comments at Daily Kos again.

For upwards of several minutes today, I have been unable to leave a comment at Daily Kos.

Several. Minutes. Today.

Again, I cannot emphasize enough that this singular, harrowing, ordeal lasted many precious minutes.

When commenting, timing is everything.  Breaking News is one thing, but My Breaking Views on Breaking News, is Everything. (Plus, for some reason, the images next to the stories, in the trending articles column, were not appearing— not all of them, just one or two random ones.)

My ability to add my opinion to other people’s opinions at Daily Kos is central to my mission of adding my opinion to other people’s opinion at Daily Kos. So being impaired from that mission was disorienting.

I checked to see if my mojo was okay. It was.

Then somehow how I stumbled on a thread at the helpdesk where someone else was having the same problem.

The solution: Log into Daily Kos via incognito mode.

After a couple of attempts to remember my password, I am in.

A major game changing internet crisis has been averted and now I can weigh in on what others have to say.

Cosmic whew.
