Trump Flirts With $15 Billion Bailout for Iran, Sources Say

President Donald Trump has left the impression with foreign officials, members of his administration, and others involved in Iranian negotiations that he is actively considering a French plan to extend a $15 billion credit line to the Iranians if Tehran comes back into compliance with the Obama-era nuclear deal.

Trump has in recent weeks shown openness to entertaining President Emmanuel Macron’s plan, according to four sources with knowledge of Trump’s conversations with the French leader. [...]

U.S. House panel calls on former top Trump aide Flynn to testify on September 25

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. House Intelligence Committee has sent a letter to Michael Flynn, a former national security adviser to President Donald Trump, demanding he testify before the panel on Sept. 25, a committee aide said[...]

Flynn, a retired U.S. Army lieutenant general, resigned as Trump’s national security adviser in February 2017. He pleaded guilty in December 2017 to lying to the FBI about conversations with Sergey Kislyak, who was Russia’s ambassador to the United States, about U.S. sanctions imposed on Moscow by President Barack Obama.

When we look back on the Age of Trump, it will be remembered for the Trump Doctrine, which is a domestic and international policy of starting huge unecessary fires and then seeking domestic, international and media praise for putting out the fires you started.

Munchausen-by-President.

Sad.
