One Photo Shows the Difference Between a Romney Rally and an Obama Rally

Sadly, this is not the first time that the Romney for Plutocrat campaign has coerced people to feign support for Mitt without pay, nor will it probably be the last.

Murray Energy Chief Financial Officer Rob Moore:

There were no workers that were forced to attend the event, Moore said. We had managers that communicated to our work force that the attendance at the Romney event was mandatory, but no one was forced to attend the event. We had a pre-registration list. And employees were asked to put their names on a pre-registration list because they could not get into the event unless they were pre-registered and had a name tag to enter the premises.”

In contrast, when you look at the enthusiasm generated at the Democratic National Convention you had scores of Democrats crying and shaking, shouting in agreement and reaching out to their speakers, dancing and singing with the delegates--and I'm just talking about the Democrats watching C-Span online.

At the DNC you had 65,000 eager invitees who had to be turned away due to inclement weather.

So no, there is no enthusiasm gap.

It's more accurate to say there is an enthusiasm chasm between Democrats who are still buzzing from their convention and the Romney Republicans whose enthusiasm is 'mandatory but not forced.'

UPDATE: I saw this tweet over at TheObamaDiary.com but did not see see it diaried here, so I did a quick one.

Trix beat me to the punch in bringing it to Kossacks attention, so I definitely want to give a hat tip to Trix, not just for bringing it over to Daily Kos first, but on general principle, for being consistently funny and a reason to enjoy this place.
